  • Two C-N bonds are hydrolyzed, releasing formate, with simultaneous removal of the terminal diphosphate and formation of a cyclic phosphate group.
  • The enzyme is also able to utilize a variety of GTP analogs as substrates, including GDP, beta,gamma-methylene-GTP and GTP-(gamma- thio).
