CC   -!- This enzyme hydrolyzes the phosphoanhydride bond between the alpha
CC       and beta phosphate of 8-oxoguanine-containing nucleoside di- and
CC       triphosphates thereby preventing misincorporation of the oxidized
CC       purine nucleoside triphosphates into DNA.
