CC   -!- The enzyme is involved in biosynthesis of L-colitose, a 3,6-
CC       dideoxyhexose found in the O-antigen of Gram-negative
CC       lipopolysaccharides, where it catalyzes the reaction in the reverse
CC       direction.
CC   -!- The enzyme also performs the NAD(P)H-dependent epimerisation at C-5
CC       of the sugar.
CC   -!- The enzyme from Yersinia pseudotuberculosis is Si-specific with
CC       respect to NAD(P)H.
