CC   -!- The enzyme, found in plants, acts on jasmonoyl-L-amino conjugates
CC       that have been hydroxylated at the C-12 position of the jasmonic acid
CC       chain by EC 1.14.14.48 further oxidizing that position to a
CC       carboxylate via an aldehyde intermediate.
CC   -!- While the best studied substrate is (+)-7-iso-jasmonoyl-L-isoleucine,
CC       the enzyme was shown to be active with jasmonoyl-L-phenylalanine,
CC       and is likely to be active with other jasmonoyl-amino acid
CC       conjugates.
