- Unlike other acyl-CoA dehydrogenases, this enzyme exhibits high
substrate- and enantiomer specificity it is highly specific for (R)-
benzylsuccinyl-CoA and is inhibited by (S)-benzylsuccinyl-CoA.
- Forms the third step in the anaerobic toluene metabolic pathway in
