  • The enzyme from Burkholderia phenoliruptrix can reduce either FAD or flavin mononucleotide (FMN) but prefers FAD.
  • Unlike EC 1.5.1.36, the enzyme can not reduce riboflavin.
  • The enzyme does not use NADPH as acceptor.
