CC   -!- The enzyme, characterized from the bacteria Acinetobacter johnsonii

CC       polyphosphates to nucleotide monophosphates.
CC   -!- The highest activity is achieved with AMP, but the enzyme can also
CC       phosphorylate GMP, dAMP, dGMP, IMP, and XMP.
