CC   -!- The enzyme is part of the Sox enzyme system, which participates in a
CC       bacterial thiosulfate oxidation pathway that produces sulfate.

CC       (either directly or via a sulfane) to a cysteine residue of a SoxY
CC       protein, releasing sulfate.
