CA Couples ATP hydrolysis with the unwinding of duplex DNA at the CA replication fork by translocating in the 5'-3' direction. CC -!- Helicases are motor proteins that can transiently catalyze the CC unwinding of energetically stable duplex DNA or RNA molecules by CC using ATP hydrolysis as the source of energy.
